Key Features
- Automatic operation: ball opens with forward flow pressure, automatically closes on backflow.
- Simple structure: only one internal ball, no complex mechanical parts, low failure rate.
- Reliable sealing: ball and seat fit tightly to prevent backflow leakage.
- Industrial-grade corrosion resistance: all PVC-U/C construction for acids, alkalis, and corrosive media.
Manufacturing Process
Body injection molded from PVC-U/C; internal ball made of PVC-U/C or PP. Seat integral or separate from body. Both ends are solvent cement sockets.
Critical Process Parameters
- Control of ball roundness and surface finish.
- Fit accuracy between ball and seat.
- Smoothness of internal flow path.
- Chemical resistance of seat material.
Raw Material Characteristics
- Body: PVC-U or PVC-C
- Ball: PVC-U/C or PP
- Seat: EPDM or PTFE
- PVC-U suitable ≤60°C; PVC-C suitable ≤93°C
Typical Applications
- Preventing media backflow in chemical piping systems.
- Preventing reverse flow at pump discharge when pump stops.
- One-way flow control in industrial water treatment systems.
- Chemical fluid transport in electroplating and semiconductor industries.
Application Scenarios
- Nodes requiring backflow prevention in industrial piping.
